Summer 2008

This summer was a lot of fun - no busy schedules, camps, VBS, swimming, trying to get back in shape and just spending time with family and friends.

At the end of June, Hannah turned 4 and Luke hit the 6 month mark. Hannah had a princess party at home complete with crafts and a pinata. Luke is starting to crawl forward a bit, but we can see he will be more timid than his older sis (whew!). The red hair is still attracting admirers wherever we go. It's funny I'm not yet annoyed by having to explain its origin to strangers who ask. This summer, we made two trips to Arkansas - in May Bill (grandpa) graduated from U of A with his doctorate in pharmacy and in July cousin Suzanne got hitched. Aug. 26th was our 8 year anniversary and we had a family "celebration" (as Hannah calls it) with a Wilkins favorite - ice cream. Our date night at a sushi restaurant and a visit to Borders was a much needed outing!
