A Day at the Museum

Julie and I took the kids to the Children's Museum of Nature and Science yesterday. Hannah was so excited to go to a museum, but she recently saw the movie "A Night at the Museum" so she thought it would be full of statues and stuffed animals and everyone would have to be quiet. Not this place - it was all about exploring and being "hands-on". I want to take Hannah back as there was so much to learn and experience, but I spent most of the time wrangling Luke who couldn't stay away from the stairs or help himself from running off. All the kids enjoyed the dinosaur dig, the firetruck and the outdoor areas. Hannah's favorites were the tarantula, fossil exhibit and the house/baby doll area. Luke most enjoyed drinking from the huge water table (much to my dismay) and pushing any button he could get his hands on. Here are some photos of the fun:

Spiderwoman?

Yes, definately Spiderwoman!

Please come back!

Time out #1

We found a contained toddler area

Love this picture, it reminds me when she was 3 and wanted to be a "fire girl"

This nose would sneeze and Luke would belly laugh

Until next time!
