Here are a few pictures of the last few days of summer. It's been fun, but now time to gear up for kindergarten, Children's Day Out, soccer season and everything in between. We are so thankful for the time we spent together as a family and looking forward to new adventures in the fall!
Luke at 19 months. Here we are playing in the family room. Luke has on his busy face - probably pushing a toy with wheels. Notice the coffee table is padded with couch cushions. Hannah has learned her cartwheel and is ALWAYS doing them and consequently hitting furniture.

Grandma always brings fun surprises on her visits. This time she brought her old jewelry and silly flamingo foam sunglasses.
We got away one weekend to celebrate our 9th anniversary. We stayed at the chic Hotel Zaza in Uptown Dallas. We went to the movies and shopping at Mockingbird Station. We also had appointments at the hotel spa (ooh la la!) and a nice dinner at Abacus. Here we are enjoying a cocktail by the pool.
