October Fun

October is always such a fun filled month in our family. The weather is cool and crisp (well...except for this year and all the rain), the kids are usually still healthy and there are lots of parties and fun to be had!!!

Our good friends from Sunday School, Jason and Erica Lax, had their annual Oktoberfest at their home. Erica's BIL, Chris, and his Beatles coverband set up in the driveway and gave a great concert. So fun !!!

Me, Erica, Melanie and Julie - just missing Erin here :(

Every month or so we get together with our "family night" group to eat, hang out and let the kids be kids. Every Halloween we have the kids dress up in their costumes mostly so we can take pictures. :) What a bunch they are! It was quite a process to take this photo but so glad we did.

The girls - gotta love this age!

Our neighbors, the Leesons had a Halloween bash for the kids. The party was complete with crafts and spider cupcakes.

Marion Elementary has so many special things planned throughout the year for the children. Here is Hannah and her Daddy on his Watch D.O.G. day (Dads of Great Students) and on Dress as Your Favorite Storybook Character day.

So proud to have her Daddy volunteer at school all day
