We had the honor of being asked to light the Advent candle at the Christmas Eve Children's Service this year. It was a little chaotic trying to read and pray while juggling our very excited kids, but fortunately it all worked out. It was so special to be able to speak aloud what we celebrate during this season - HOPE, PEACE, JOY, LOVE and CHRIST! May we always try to show these qualities to each other and remember Christ in all we do. :)
Hannah was also in the pageant as an angel and had 5 or 6 lines at the end. She performed beautifully and without a hint of stage fright or hesitation. She never ceases to amaze us. Here is the video of the service on our church's website. We light the candles at the beginning of the service and Hannah is the last speaker.
