Luke's Performances

Luke was precious at his year-end preschool performance.  The move to GEM Express was a good decision as it saved me a few hours a week and sparked a real interest in writing and early math for Luke.  We started the semester not knowing how to count past 20 or so, now he claims he can count to 1,000 and I'm sure he could if we let him.  :)  His writing and drawing is coming along and his phonics and letter recognition "exceed" his age level.  Yay!  Loved hearing him talk about the fruits of the spirit this past month and all his adventures with his little friends.   I can't believe we only have one more year before he's off to grade school.

See the little red head peeking over...he was happy to spot us.

Luke also finished up another semester in his sports skills class at The Little Gym.  He loves playing soccer, hockey, basketball, etc. and getting out some of that boy energy.   Next fall we plan to sign him up for a soccer team - we think he might be ready.  He's showing some signs (healthy signs, I hope) of wanting to compete and his skills are there.  Way to go, Luke!
