Mom's Day

I felt the love this year on Mother's Day.  Best part was receiving the little love notes and handmade crafts/cards from the kids and really feeling appreciated.  On Saturday I spent 5 hours away from the house (the longest I've left the baby ever) and met my mom in downtown Waxachachie for lunch and some shopping.  We had a really nice visit and I felt a little more like me again, being away for a while.  To top it off my parents sent me flowers - such a sweet surprise!  On Sunday after church we picked up some sandwiches and all took naps (or tried to anyway).  Michael gave me a card (yay!), some flowers, a very tasty box of Sublime chocolates, and a wristlet and key chain from Vera Bradley.  I recently had my purse stolen so it was nice to have these replacements and in a pattern especially selected by Hannah Kate.

Here's my love loot...

This is pretty typical of Luke...
It is a big deal around here when breakfast is in his tummy.  I am not a functioning person until I've had my coffee so not sure why he thinks I'm funny.  I am pretty sure he couldn't think of creative answers for #2 and #3 so he just said the first thing that popped into his head.   Always so logical and literal.  Love him!

My littlest monkey happily eating...

They are my pride and joy...
