NASA

Hannah and Luke are aspiring astronauts so over Christmas break we took a family trip down to Houston to see the NASA Space Center.   I had never been and was excited to finally see it.  We will definitely go back with the bigger kids when they are both older (or just take Hannah by herself).  There was so much to see and learn - we just couldn't fit it all in on a toddler's schedule.

Michael and I hung back with Ryan while the rest of the family took a bus tour to see the entire facility.  This part of the visit was a little disappointing because it was unclear as to what they were looking at and it was COLD, but the kids seemed to enjoy it!

We were some of the first in the museum - the boys were ready to go!

The indoor replica of a space shuttle was pretty cool to see.

Ryan enjoyed all of the hands-on activities.  What is it with toddlers and buttons anyway?

Legos anyone?

Sally Ride exhibit - first woman astronaut to fly to the moon.  Hannah loved learning about her.

Luke enjoyed all of the activities that taught about mechanics and scientific concepts.

Learning is fun!!
