Spring Break

We enjoyed a relaxing staycation this spring break.  But we made the most of it!

I took the big kids to see Croods - it had been a while since we had been to the theatre.  What a treat!

Lily came over for a sleepover

Susannah and Sierra came through Dallas.  Uncle Bean and Aunt Kathy came to Dallas to shop so we all met at BJs for dinner then back out our house for ice cream!  Luke kept calling Carl "grandpa"!!!

We HAD to take Sierra to Pappasitos.  Best. Mexican Food. Ever.

Movie night with the whole crew.

Lynnelle, my BFF from high school, invited me over and cooked me dinner.  A lovely evening!

Best friends since 1st grade

We went to the "Rocket Park".  Luke insisted on flying his kite although there so no breeze.

Michael took off of work on Thursday and we spent the day at Clyde Warren Park in downtown Dallas.  We arrived early, but after a few hours the place was packed!  We can't wait to go back and visit the new Perot Museum.  Hannah says it's the "best museum ever."  The kids loved the tree house and jungle gym areas. The outdoor library was really cool as were the food trucks.  We ate pizza grilled cheese sandwiches and ice cream cookie sandwiches.  Yum!   If we had known, we would have brought the kids a change of clothes so they could get wet in the splash park.

Beautiful weather, tree house, Dallas skyline, jungle gym and dessert.  What more do you need?
