It has been our tradition to attend our church for the Christmas Eve candlelight service. Here we are all dressed up and ready to celebrate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ!
The kids were soooo happy with the gifts Santa gave them. Luke got a train table and Thomas train sets and Hannah got a Barbie Dream House and American Girl Doll (Rebecca). It was sooo fun watching them on Christmas morning.
Here are some cute pics of the kids at school parties, decorating cookies and just enjoying the festivites!
Sooo cool, we had our first white Christmas! The snow hung around for the day. The kids played outside with our neighbors and had snowball fights, built large and small snowmen and of course, were warmed by hot cocoa. Love that in Dallas we get at least one snowfall a year - just enough for me!
We did receive some sad news at the end of Christmas day. Michael's grandmother, Dorothy Wilkins, passed away. She had a tumor in her lung that could not be treated due to her health. She died in her sleep at her oldest son's home surrounded by family. She was ready to go be with her Jim, Michael's grandfather, who passed away 3 years earlier. We traveled to Little Rock, AR for the memorial service the next week. It was such a beautiful and meaningful tribute to her life and gifts/talents, she would have loved it. We miss you, Grandma and GG. We love you!
