Ryan's New Tricks

Ryan is really keeping us on our toes this month.  I'm exhausted most nights from keeping up with him all day.  He likes to push anything - laundry baskets, shopping carts and especially strollers.  He's recently learned to climb the stairs and is starting to stand for a second on his own.  This kid is enamored with dogs just like his big sister.  He can spot them a mile away and says, "Dddd" when he sees them.  I am pretty sure he tries to make a "woof" sounds as well.  As soon as he is up out of his crib he's pointing and trying to touch everything, doing his best to communicate with his babbling.  Yesterday he clapped his hands together for the first time.  He grunts "m" for more in his high chair.  The kid eats whatever we cook - makes it so easy and we are enjoying it while it lasts.  He's the least cuddly of all my kids as babies.  He literally tries to crawl out of my arms if I hold him close in the glider rocker.  Then he bucks back and throws a baby fit because he knows bedtime is coming.  So miss those early days full of snuggles. Nonetheless, he's a keeper.

This monkey is into everything...

This boy needs his sleep....

Hard sometimes to get a good morning nap when we have places to be.  We are in the car during Luke's Little Gym class here.  Nursed him right to sleep.

I couldn't resist...curls and fat rolls...I think he's perfect.  :)
