Boz was found as a stray and rescued from a shelter from a small town somewhere close by (forgot where). He was emaciated and thin but his foster parents put some weight on him, paid for all of the vetting, had him neutered and showered him with love and attention. We think he came from a back-yard breeder since he's red, a non-standard color for the breed.
Bosley is crate trained. although not a fan, he tolerates it and does his best not to whine. It took us a few nights to figure out he needed to see us while in his crate. We moved the crate to our bedroom and he does great there overnight. He had a few accidents in the house and has had a few accidents in the crate when we left him all day or it was storming. He loves to be on soft surfaces, he will sit on anything besides the hard floor - dirty clothes, a place mat on the floor, his dog bed, the kids' beds. His favorite is the kids' beds and the couches. He loves to cuddle up, he rarely barks or drools and he doesn't shed much at all. Lucky us! On the downside, he does have some separation anxiety and being that he is between 2-4 years old, it may be hard to break him of it. He tries to get in the car any time we go into the garage. He follows me around everywhere unless I am sitting down. This is very annoying, something we need to work on. He loves Hannah and tolerates the boys - not sure if he likes Ryan too much considering we never know if he will give him a sweet pat or pull his ears and hit him. Bosley has let him know he doesn't approve by being mouthy, but lately he just gets up and walks off. We joke and call Bosley a cat (his personality), but his bursts of energy, the way he plays with other dogs and how he plays with his stuffed toys and bones are very dog-like. He's a good dog. Welcome to the family, Bosley. We love you!

Adoption day
First night at home. Poor, pitiful - he didn't even know what to do.
New bed, new toys to make him feel at home.
Ryan loves him too.
Sweetness
