At the Halfway Mark

Just had to share the latest update on Baby Boy Wilkins at 20 weeks. He's measuring about a week ahead of schedule weighing 12 oz last Wednesday. I've gained about 4 or 5 lbs so far - my weight went down the first trimester with all the morning sickness I had, then I started gaining...BUT the stomach bug bit me hard a few days ago! Hopefully there will be no more ups and downs.

Here are the sonogram pictures. Yes, he's still a boy, and a very active one. His heart rate is still around 160 bpm every time it's checked and the technicians are always commenting on how much he moves. :)

Michael noticed he might be a cyclist someday - he was kicking and bending his legs in this shot...

Profile pic - looks a lot like his siblings so far. Hannah commented on how big his head was and made a reference to her cousin Isaiah. Pretty funny!

Boy, all boy...

Luke and Hannah went with us to the sonogram and I think it made it more real for them. Hannah thought it was pretty cool, but she was a little put out she was missing recess and all the fun at school. Luke was interested in his brother, but probably more interested in wanting to push buttons on the sonogram machine. He's been really cute though lately, asking to lay on the baby and putting his head under my shirt and talking to him. I can't wait to see how this trio's relationship develops over the years.

I've sorted the clothes and started shopping for the baby stuff we no longer have. I had fun last week buying a few things. I'd like to get everything in order before 32 weeks so I can rest and enjoy those last few weeks. We shall see if that really happens.

WE CAN'T WAIT TO MEET BABY AND COMPLETE OUR FAMILY! WE FEEL SO VERY THANKFUL, HAPPY, AND EXCITED FOR NEW ADVENTURES!
