Big Boy Ryan getting a little tummy time on Daddy. Such a strong little guy!
Ryan's full of new tricks this week. Maybe that is why he isn't sleeping thru the night as well - waking up after 5 hours instead of 6-8. He's been too busy learning new things. He's becoming more smiley every day. I love having our little baby talk conversations and getting big, toothless grins in between. He's a happy boy! He's figured out how to move his little hand up to his mouth. It's so cute to see him deliberately extend the right hand, watch it and slowly move it to his mouth as best he can. Then there are other times where he finds that mouth without much effort. He's starting to grab toys that you give him and bring those to his mouth. We have drool and lots of it. Not sure if it's a sign of teeth coming (surely not at 3-4 months), but it's drool none-the-less. Last weekend he sort of sat up - really he's just so chubby he can support himself with that wide base and do a tripod move with his fists to stay upright. He also rolled over front to back twice the same day, but I'm sure it was non-intentional - the weight of his head probably helped him fall that way. But it still counts, right? The hair-do is quite interesting. Hannah didn't lose one hair on her head as a baby, and Luke had a little comb over on one side (but his first hair cut was at 4 months!!!). Poor Ry is losing a lot of it especially around the rim of his scalp giving him a baby mullet. Good thing he's cute so he can pull it off.
Keep those tricks coming Ryan! Don't want you to grow up too fast, BUT there is no stopping it so go ahead and bring it!
